The Table of Peace and Unity one of South Africa most prestigious charity events, sponsored by Spekko Rice and in association with Pick n Pay has grown to include five tables, on Table Mountain in Cape Town, Durban’s Botanical Gardens, Freedom Park in Pretoria, Polokwane Game Reserve and Victoria Park in Port Elizabeth. This year’s event takes place on Sunday 17 May at 12:00.
World-class entertainers for this year include Coda, Heinz Winkler, PJ Powers, Louise Carver, Mara Louw, Ryan O’Connor, Kholwa Brothers, Lungi Naidoo, Emmanuel Castis, Bettina Schouw and academy award winners the Soweto Gospel Choir.

The best South African chefs prepare the 5 star gourmet feast whilst top South African entertainers perform to guests that are passionate about peace and unity in our beautiful country. Everyone involved with the event wants to make a difference and that is why they come together to raise funds and celebrate peace and unity- it is a life changing experience which is priceless. The five- star luncheon raises funds for child- related charities being the Red Cross Children’s Hospital, The Tygerberg Children’s Hospital in Cape Town, Bobbi Bear in Kwa-Zulu Natal, Fanang Diatla, Isithembiso babies home and Copes Clinic in Soweto, but brings together South Africans with a common cause: peace and unity. To date the Table of Peace and Unity has raised over R6 million with a record R911 000 being raised last year. So join us in this national drive to build a nation of caring people.
